Should I?

Should i update to a different forum type? Right now we have PhpBB I was thinking about updating to SMF. If you want some screen shots of what SMF looks like open the spoiler

That would be great! But, don't use Zymic to host it, they don't allow auto installation of mods, unless you can find a member of any forum with experience in the field of PHP and mySQL edits, seeing as the mod I use on my downed SMF forum, auto embed video clips by Karl Benson, allows for just posting a link, as you know, and the video would appear in place of it, another pair of great mods for SMF are TinyPortal and SMFarcade, and I'm sure i could find a good theme for the new forum.

Ok well thanks. I was thinking about using zxq.net to host it as thats what eibwen/orp uses to host his forum. And another thing is that you would all lose your post counts and would have to make a hole new account.

i think you should, and you write down everyones rank, and they come into the new site with that rank. as for post count i dont know what we will do, but is it possible to bring a few things like tuts and vids over, i can do it mannually, but it would be easier if i didn't have to.

Well idk I won't release the URL out in public when i make it. This one will continue to stay open for a while. I might just release it in the staff lounge and ask if the staff could help make it.

If you're going to use zxq.net, then use MyBB, as its mods can bypass PHP safe mode, as they are in their own .php files.
And I could help make the new site, since I seem to have a lot of experience making them.
